Artist's Comments
An acrylic painting I recently finished.
I started this when I was very sad and depressed, and I decided to finish it when I felt equally the same feeling. In any case, the painting, I feel, reflects the raw emotion of loneliness even when there's the light of hope around her. The darkness is still slowly closing in. Its a dark, surreal piece that shows the inner mind and its imagination when it is in turmoil and despair. The fairy is lost in the swirl of emotions around her, and her expression has no hope. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
